De Verre in Cassis
The De Verre print is composed of superimposed paintings. The final effect is inspired by the “briques de verre” or glass bricks, invented at the turn of the 20th century as an architectural component used to create walls that let light in. The nostalgic glass facades look fragmented by the hundreds of tiny distorted squares–all aligned– to create a sense of perfectly organized chaos.
